Can't link my checking account to my eBay sellers account
Every time I try to link my checking account to my eBay sellers account, I get the following message: "Sorry, we are unable to find an eligible checking account at this time."
I've tried dozens of times to get this issue resolved with eBay's pathetic AI, with no success. How do I get to speak with a human?

·1 month agoWhat bank are you using? Sometimes we think a financial place is a bank and they really aren't. Like lots of people think Chime, PayPal, ect. are banks, and they are not. So if you tell us, we may be able to better direct you. No personal info, just the name of the bank you are trying to attach.
Below is all the ways in which you can contact Ebay. If you drop down to the bottom there is a link you can go to and have them CALL you.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.

Make sure you are using the right ACH routing number for electronic payments; it may not be the same number that is on your checks.
Also be sure that your name and street address in your eBay account matches the name and street address on the bank account exactly, character for character.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a chat with an agent or a call back.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
You can also try contacting eBay via social media direct message:
