Can’t buy , bud or save from eBay website using my iphone

I do not use the app , but have been purchasing from the website for years. This just started a couple of days ago shortly after buying an item. I went to place a bid and couldn’t… the button was not lit. Same thing when I checked a “buy now” item. Later noticed that I couldn’t add to my save list. Just to see if it was an account issue I got on my pc and everything was fine. I changed my password and still have the issue on my iPhone. Anyone know what the problem might be?

·2 months agoSounds like the version of Safari that lots of folks have with iOS 15.8.8 no longer works with eBay. Possibly other browsers as well.
I would suggest reporting the issue to eBay directly using one of the "Tell us what you think" browser links from one of the affected My eBay pages, then trying other browsers to see if one works better and posting the detailed results here of which browser versions have been tried.

In that case you will likely have to upgrade your operating system or use a different device.

What browsers have you tried? Perhaps there is one version that works better than the others.

·2 months agoI’ve always used Safari , tried DuckDuckGo with no improvement, back on Safari now and have noticed the add to watchlist icon has changed from grey back to a lighter than normal blue and I can only view the first photo of a listing

OP2 months agoYes I forgot to mention that I can only view the first photo of a listing as well. Also the very light blue buttons do nothing when I try to click on them. We definitely have the same issue.

If the problem is with your browser, what browser type and version are you using?
Any difference if you use another browser?
If you have an old version of the eBay app on your phone, note that the app might automatically open eBay browser links, and if the app is old, it may no longer work. If you do not use the eBay app at all, you may want to delete it from your iPhone if you cannot update it to the latest version.

Hey @shal_4458 we would recommend a removing/deleting and reinstalling the app on your phone, since you have already verified the issue is not at the account-level.
