Can't add items to an existing markdown sale -- Save and Review button doesn't click
I have many existing markdown sales. All of a sudden, I am unable to add new items to any of my existing sales When I select additional items and click the blue Save & Review button, nothing happens when I click the button. I have been in an extended chat with an agent and we have tried clearing cache and cookies, using a different browser, and going incognito in my browser. So far, nothing has helped.
The only way I am able to put more items on sale now is to create new markdown sales from scratch, rather than just adding to the ones I already have.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hello everyone. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I've gotten this reported to our tech team, but if everyone experiencing this could please file an individual ticket with our customer service team. The more tickets we receive on this the better.

·1 year agoI am unable to file a customer service ticket with that link but am having an issue with adding items to an existing event. The items show up but cannot be clicked by clicking "all" or individually.

And it's been going on for three or four days now, at least for me.
Creating a new percentage discount sale is a pain in the butt especially for just three or four items.

Same problem here i first notice it last night 8/26/2023
My solution was do what you are doing is just end and start new. I really don't like that idea at all.
And I thought about calling support but almost 99% of the time that is a wasted effort I don't believe I have called them in over a year.

·2 years agoMe too. I just contacted ebay through Help & Contact & was told there is a known glitch & they are working on it. ebay has received several calls on this. Rep's only solution was to start a new sale for now. You may want to contact them & be added to the list of sellers being affected. If they realize how many sellers this is affecting, they fix it faster.

·2 years agoI thought this would be fixed by now, I guess I'm a wishful thinker. I wasted way to much time trying to figure out why it wasn't working before I realized that it was an Ebay glitch. I thought something was going on with my internet. Even though I have a small store, I really don't want to have to take the time to recreate new sales to add a few items. This is my first time in Technical Issues Community. Does Ebay ever come in and say if they are aware of a problem and are working on it? Or do you just wait it out testing it periodically?

OP2 years ago@cherivee Yes, sometimes an eBay community moderator will come on and say they know about an issue and are working on it. Earlier on this thread copied two moderators onto the thread, but so far, neither has said anything. It is so frustrating wasting time thinking the problem is on your end, isn't it? So often, it turns out not to be on the user end, but it's an eBay technical issue. Sigh.....

Yeah! Did they give you a ticket number so the rest of us can call in and add our names to the ticket. I *think/hope* that the more people who are attached to a ticket, the higher the priority an issue will get in the fix queue.

·2 years agoStill not working.... so I figure it's the weekend and nothing will be resolved until Monday..... sick of sucking it up because of eBay making changes that not only affect this specific problem but also cascades down through everything. So many other problems... why do they keep tweaking stuff that doesn't need to be "fixed".

·2 years agoYes, you can create a new sale and add items to that one but then after you launch that new sale, you are not able to add any more items to it! This is a HUGE problem for me! I rely on these markdown sales....I add more items to the each day as items reach their 30 day mark....

Only way to get those items within a 'sale event' is to create a new sale.
Hopefully Ebay will get this fixed soon or else we'll have like 100 sales running...

·2 years agoI'm having same problem. Looks like ebay changed the item limit on sales from 500 to 1500, which I'm sure is what caused the problem. Everytime they change something, they mess something else up.

Is this a known issue? Is someone on eBay working to fix? The agent I chatted with didn't know.
