Buyers cannot bid gets error message
"Hi there. You have some good stuff and I really would like to bid on your items. It gives me an error when I try to bid from you and I was wondering if you can fix that for me if possible. I don't know why it's happening because I've never bought anything from you before haha"

Does that user appear in your Buyer Requirements Activity Log?

If that feature still works, it may indicate if the buyer was blocked due to your buyer requirements.
Otherwise, without knowing what error message the buyer is actually seeing, it is hard to troubleshoot. The buyer may have to contact eBay directly for help.
Also, there is the possibility that the user is trying to get you involved in an off-eBay transaction for one reason or another. Unfortunately, saying that the user is getting an error message is an all-too-plausible excuse that scammers sometimes employ.

I never knew that reported existed.
It still works, and I have a long list of buyers who have blocked due to too many unpaid items since the beginning of the year.
I wondered why some of my auctions had many views and no bids, now I know. And I also know that lowering the price when I relist is inappropriate.
Obviously, I would not do anything which would allow these folks to bid.

At one point I had suggested checking that log to someone who later claimed it had not worked for them; possibly the attempted bidder or buyer did not appear on the list, or the seller had not set the requirements correctly, or the list was just not working that day. So it is nice to hear that the log still works!

I also sell world wide so he may be in a country that who knows if it will ship to?
