Business Policies - I Opted Out
As of yesterday morning, everything was fine. This morning I attempted to list something and there are now NO OPTIONS to choose from. I opted out of business policies a long time ago, but now suddenly eBay is creating them for me! I can't delete them, because eBay suddenly has them attached to a listing. This is maddening!
I can't even get the item listed because I can't get passed this. I can't chose a shipping method, return policy, etc. I click on the drop-down list, and now there is no list for anything. The only thing it is giving me an option to do is create a policy. If I wanted to do that, I would have done it. I opted out of the business policies last year because eBay kept adding new ones on their own.
Anyone else having issues? Screenshot below.

·2 years agoDid you copy a listing that may have had policies set up?

·2 years agoI am just guessing here, but don't you have to opt-out here:

·2 years agoYou're not opted out. If you don't want to use biz policies you have to click that tiny opt out link on the top right of your screenshot on this page.

OP2 years agoI actually HAD opted out... that's what I'm saying. Now suddenly, I'm not and I did not change this.

·2 years agoYeah, I did see you wrote that. Certain actions on eBay can opt a seller back in and you don't realize until you create a new listing. I don't have a list of what those triggers are. I think opting in to Seller Hub might be one.
Either way, you were opted in at the time of your post so the best advice I could give was opt out again if you don't want to use biz policies. ðŸ‘

OP2 years agoI simply opted out again. Thanks for catching this! Although... I still would love to know why they opted me back in, lol!
