Bulk Listing Tool Not Working
Summary: In the discussion about the Bulk Listing Tool not working, simply-the-best-for-you responded to a query, stating they weren't aware of any free Bulk Listing tools and mentioned a similar issue reported about Bulk Edit, where two users experienced problems. simply-the-best-for-you tried to recreate the issue without any success and noted that the tool worked fine for them after making changes to approximately 1300 listings. They also suggested trying a different browser as a potential solution.
For the past few days I have been trying to use the bulk listing/editing tool, and it either will not load or just gets hung up when trying to change anything? Is anyone else experiencing this issue.

·2 months agoI too have had problems with the bulk relisting option. I had to relist one at a time to get the inactive listings relisted on Ebay. Hope they get this fixed ASAP.

·7 months agoI'm having major issues with the bulk listing tool as well. I don't know if it's the same issue that people were having months ago, but most of my files fail to upload entirely. I tested this with a file that worked months ago. That file does upload with no issue. However, when I change ANYTHING about it, including just the name of the file, I get an error message.
"Your upload failed. We had trouble reading your file. Make sure to stick to commas, semicolons, or tabs to separate your data."
This must be an error on eBay's part, and it's awful. I rely heavily on the bulk upload tool, and if it's screwed up on their end, there's probably no workaround. Please fix this issue, eBay!
Edit: I found a fix. However, I'm guessing people on this thread are talking about the bulk listing tool, not the bulk listing upload tool. If you use the latter, here's the solution to the problem.

·1 year agoLiterally tearing my hair out with this now. Happened back in February and I ended up recreating an auction that has 200 or so variants -- and I'm right back in the same situation. Ebay support has not been very helpful - did you ever get this to work?

·1 year agoI have no issue with eBay on my mobile. I reset the wifi, that didn't work. Still does work on the one computer though.

·1 year agoI've got it to work on one computer. I'm not sure what is different about that computer. The only thing I can think of is that I did move it from one property to another, but it was literally next door, on the same ASUS Mesh Network. Gonna try resetting the wifi network and see if that fixes it.

·1 year agoI should mention, I've completely cleared the browsing history and cache for all accounts. I've signed in and out. Obviously the first thing we did was just to restart the computers. Also, this error is business wide, we have about 9 computers all connected to eBay and none of them work.

Same here - both store and home computers with different IPSs - Have no idea if the phone app works.
From what we've read here affecting 'only' a small group of sellers - if more then there would be more posts/complaints.

·1 year agosame issue. I've tried on different browsers, still freezes up.

·1 year agoI'm having the same issue. We use both chrome and edge, edge for the main account if they need access to the main features and chrome for their work email accounts that have access to the main account, but not all of the features. This way they can get in and out very quickly. Anyways we can't use the bulk editing tool for anything, on anything, right now. We try to edit anything, and we get the spinning circle of doom - and then the page freezes and we have to exit out of it.

·1 year agoI’m having the same problem using Firefox & Safari. Items load into the bulk editor fine but when trying to access any of the functions all I get is a spinning circle. When you click off the spinning circle box the page freezes.

·1 year agoHaving the exact same problem/response since Friday night - On chrome, fire and edge. Just want to bulk reschedule unsold but the 'start time' popup just spins.
Have done the report bit from ended page for all accounts.
Fortunately we can, as of now, still relist things one by one, either from the bulk page/list - open, schedule and save - or clicking on single 'relist' and at end 'done'.
Un-fortunately we have 50 more to do by Thursday noon our time.

·1 year agoFWIW, my testing was all on Chrome & everything worked perfectly. Not saying there isn't a problem, but I was unable to recreate on Chrome.

·1 year agoHi @caudil_3 . Some users are reporting problems with bulk list tool and bulk edit tool are specific to Chrome. If you're using Chrome, use a different browser until this is fixed.
In addition, file a tech report - it's fast and easy and eBay does review these reports. The more people reporting, the higher priority the issue will get in the fix queue.
Click the ? icon on the bottom right corner of almost any eBay page and that will also trigger the option to file a tech report, submit feedback to eBay, and more. Screenshots here.

·1 year agoAre you referring to the Bulk Edit? I don't know of any Bulk LISTING tools, except by paid subscriptions to 3rd party software.
If you're referring to the Bulk Edit, I have seen another post from a couple of days ago in which 2 people were reporting spinning. But I repeatedly tried to recreate it with no success. Like @jonathanbrightlight it worked fine for me & I even followed through on the change & then changed it back. I did around 1300. I also suggested trying another browser.

·1 year agoI've seen other reports of sellers having trouble with it. I just did a test and it worked fine for me with 2000 listings, though I only changed one since I wasn't actually planning on making changes. If anything it was moving faster than normal.
I would suggest trying a different browser and/or clearing your cache and browsing data and see if that helps.
