BUG - Editing BIN drafts changes set price to eBay's suggested price when saved.
Here is my listings after they've been created from the smartphone app:
Now, when I'm editing the draft, it shows my current set price, and the median sold price that it recommends in the gray box next to it.
However, If I save the draft without changing the price, it will change the price for me to the median price it suggested:
Because I have a very involved process in how I craft my listings, I am pretty likely to catch this before it goes live, but I hope some can see how this might cause sellers serious headaches, depending on their listing style.
Other information: I create the listing using the eBay smartphone app for Android, and am running the most current version. I write in my set price while on the smartphone app. I do my editing on Mozilla Firefox on a Windows 10 Machine. I do have the Disconnect and uBlock Origins plugins, but both are turned off for eBay.

·3 years agoWhich version of the app are you using @mygames19? This issue is not uncommon for older versions of the app. Bugs in old apps are frequent because those apps are no longer supported.
If you're using the latest version of the app then check the settings on the website listing form to ensure price prefill is not checked off:

As stated at the bottom of my post, I am on the latest version of the eBay app.
However, the suggestion to look at the Pricing Options that you both mentioned seems to have revealed the culprit:
"Autofill Pricing Details" was checked "On", making this problem a feature and not a bug.
However, it must be mentioned that to my recollection, I have never switched it to "On", so either I did so by accident in the last month, or it turned itself on.
That being said, it looks like at least for right now, this solution works. I will come back to report if I have further issues. Thank you!
