Best offer
I tried to submit a best offer on an item. I immediately get an "order confirmed " message. But I didnt win. I was able to submit another offer and get the same message again. The item is still for sale. No email no purchase. Offer didn't even go through. This is another image on top of yesterdays search not working.

It sounds like you are confusing making an offer with placing a bid. When you make an offer, you will only win if the seller accepts it. If it said you didn’t win then the offer was too low and it was rejected automatically.
You will need to make an higher offer if you’re willing to pay more. Once your offer is above the minimum that the seller set, it will either wait for the seller to review it, or it may be accepted automatically if it is above the auto-accept threshold.

OP5 months agoNo, there is a glitch with ebay. When submitting a best offer, it pops up a green window saying order confirmed.
But the offer didn't even go through much less a sale.
Usually it says offer submitted.
Yesterday saved searches didn't work.
Today its something else.

·5 months agoEdit: I deleted my post because this does appear to be a glitch. There have been a few other reports since this thread was started.

·5 months agoIt is DEFINITELY a glitch. Ive been on ebay over 25 years. I know how to make an offer. The offers aren't going through and are not showing in the bids and offers tabs. Also for over a month while scrolling whole page glitches and says network error retry. And u have to start entire search over. I called ebay multiple times. They dont know and dont care. Super frustrating. I noticed it never glitches when they're collecting their fees.
