Bar code on shipping label won't print.
I tried to print an ebay shipping label, but the bar code wouldn't print. I downloaded the .pdf for the label, printed it, and the area for the bar code was blank. I've never seen this before. The bar code appears normally in the .pdf, but it does not show up when printed. I tried again, same result. I cancelled that label and got another, tried to print it, same result. So I cancelled the second label and purchased a label through another shipping service. I had no trouble printing that one.
It's strange. The label prints but without the bar code. Is anyone else having this problem? Any idea what's going on? Thanks.

Hmmm, that is strange. If that happens again you can use the Download label function on this page via the drop-down menu on the left. You can reprint a label 5 times before you have to buy a new one. This is the same page you cancelled the first label on. Track and manage your shipments
Before trying to print the label again take a screen shot and save that. If the label prints again without the bar code you can just printout the screenshot that has the bar code on it.

OP6 months agoI was printing from the .pdf, which I had downloaded, as explained in my original post.
In my experience, printing from a screenshot produces a blurry shipping label that cannot be scanned. That's why I didn't do it.

·6 months agoIf there is a "print as image" option available in your print preview, try that option to rule out problems with font substitutions.

·6 months agoAre you printing using a browser or a PDF reader? Try another browser if you are using a browser. Or else try using a PDF reader rather than your browser's PDF utility.
