App keeps closing when I click on a search item
Every time I click on an item from the search page on my iPad, the eBay app closes. Why is this? If I make it a watched item, then clicking on it opens the item.
I have the latest versions of iPadOS and eBay App.

OP1 month agoiPadOS version number is 26.5.2 and eBay is 6.264.1.1
I’ve never used Shake to report. It is enabled but no matter how I shake the iPad i dont detect any communication with eBay. Should I get a
Notification?
I am unable to access service preferences despite following the instructions in the error notice of logging out and logging back in again.

·1 month agoShaking your device should bring up a report window if the app is active.
Have you tried uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling? If that does not work, disable the feature that opens eBay browser links in the app and use a mobile browser instead of the app.

OP1 month agoWhile in the eBay app I have gone into settings, shake to report, toggled off and on again, still no report window.
I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, still the same.
I don't know how to disable the feature that opens eBay browser links.

·1 month agoDid you restart in between uninstalling and reinstalling? That can help if a previous installation did not finish cleanly, which can prevent future updates.
To disable eBay browser links from opening in the app automatically using iOS, tap and hold an eBay browser link that opens in the app, and select "don't open in the app". Then links should open in your browser going forward. You may need to repeat that if the app updates and resets the setting.

What operating system version number and app version number are you using? "Latest" is not necessary latest.
App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled and the app is still running.
If uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling the app does not help or if your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app, uninstall the app or disable the feature that opens eBay browser links in the app and then use a browser to reach eBay instead.
