An offer arrived! But not my listing!
I received a great offer to buy my item! Great, right? No. 😳
On closer look the image of the item was not my image. In fact, the item was not mine. It was a similar item to one I am selling now but another seller's listing!
Major mix up. 😱
Will the other seller see the offer?
Is it really for me but with the wrong listing? 🤑
(It has me wondering if I am getting an offer somewhere in ebay land for my item but I won't see the offer!) 🙄

OP2 years agoAhhh yes, it is! Thank you for replying.
That's pretty tricky as I thought it was and offer for my item. Hmmmmm, it should be worded differently in my opinion; "Perhaps you'd like to purchase this!"

·2 years agoFor some reason Ebay thinks it's a good idea to fill your inbox with offers for items you just look at.

·2 years agoAre you sure that it isn't an offer for you to buy the other seller's item?
If you viewed that item listing, maybe while you were researching your own listing or doing price checks, then you might have received an offer to purchase the item because you "showed interest" in it.
