55 Offers sent over the past week. Looks like not received.
Not one response of any kind. No accepts or declines. I have been asking in the note box for a decline if not interested. No responses

·5 months agoI'm always receiving offers and I just let them expire.

·5 months agoSent a 20% off offer this morning.
Item sold at 9 AM with offer accepted.
It works fine for me.

·5 months agoI have not been able to make any offers for days, and I would not be surprised at this point if I'm not able to accept or counter an offer presented by a seller either.

·5 months agoSame here. Haven't been able to send an offer of any kind for several days now. When you try, you get a "Page Missing" error message. And from what I have been able to tell, buyers can't currently see any offers sent by sellers either. eBay has told several people that nothing was wrong. But as we see more and more of these posts, it has become painfully obvious that this is a widespread problem!

As a workaround, try sending an offer from ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.

·5 months agoJust sent 100 more and had an instant sale. Also have one message from another. Hopefully it will keep working now.

·5 months ago55 offers sent and no response of any kind? That sounds about right. This isn't a technical issue or a glitch. It's par for the course.

·5 months agoI sent over 200 offers today, received nothing back,, no sales, counters, or anything

·5 months ago@nerdarsenal
we did 100 and also had zero sales from it yesterday
though I will say I find the sales for us usually come on day 2 when folks get the "about to expire" message.

·5 months agoThis is probably not what you want to hear.
Personally, I never respond in any way to offers sent by sellers. I just delete.
My reasoning is pretty much you are wasting my time by sending me an offer. No offer will tempt me to buy even if I watch the item. I also watch things just to see what they might sell for or how long they stay on the market at the listed price.

You guys are missing the point - something is wrong and OP is running a test. We have plenty of buyers that would 100% message us back if we asked. Everyone's ebay experience is different as are our businesses.
Offers are very effective if done correctly in my experience

·5 months agoThank you for pointing that out. Still think we have a valid point. Maybe he/she will let us know the results of the test.

·5 months agoMany people don't even open an offer to see any message that may be attached, and as others have said, no one is required to respond one way or the other. I get notices of offers and remove from the notification drop down when they show up there and delete when they expire in the Offers section in My eBay.
Don't forget offers going out are also sent to people that just opened the item to see what it was with no interest in buying. I open things all the time that I don't have any intention on buying.

·5 months agoAs mentioned, there is no eBay requirement that anyone respond to offers one way or another.
There can be a number of varying reasons that they don't.
After 3 days, don't you just assume that they aren't interested?
kibble-net
·5 months agoWho's going to bother responding to these? Honestly? That is not something that ever happens.
Offers are accepted rarely, it's a numbers game. The only way to increase your rate of offer acceptance is to offer larger discounts.

Users are not required to respond to offers one way or the other.
Offers can be accepted, rejected, countered or ignored. All are acceptable.
Some users get dozens of offers at a time, around the clock; wanting a user to respond individually to your offer even when the user is not interested is not a realistic expectation.

·5 months agoI understand the rational behind your response but something is off with sending offers and has been for weeks. It's not unusual for us to send 100 a day. It's extremely unusual for us to have no sales on 100 offers. For the past few weeks the acceptance rate dropped off a cliff (not even counting the ebay down days) many days there were no accepted offers. I'm a numbers guy and the numbers don't jibe. Add to it that people are reporting not even being able to submit offers today and the system is pretty clearly broken.
Edited to add: Just checked and our acceptance rate is down 41% over the past 30 days on 1400 sent and I'm guessing that does not include the past week or longer (which has been even worse)

Since eBay was down for much of the last weekend in April, some users have been having problems making offers using a browser; I do not know if that extends to accepting offers, but it would not surprise me if the total amount of accepted offers in the last week or so is lower that it has been previously due to fewer offers being made from buyers or sellers.

·5 months agoI've just watched your TT diamond teapot. If you send an offer I will let you know if I receive in my decline offer.
Then you will know for sure if offers have been received.
I send offers all the time. Some buy, some don't. What can you do?

·5 months agoHi, We here in New Jersey send ouite a few offers. The only responses that we usually receive is when a buyer accepts & we make a sale.
coolmom7983
OP5 months agoThanks. About 75% of my sales are from offers. Very odd not one acceptance. A few sent had multiple watchers. One was sent to 11 watchers. I am very concerned,

·5 months agoHi Again, We typically score a sale on one of around 12 to 15 offers made. Usually less than 1/2 of our total sales. Not really a great percentage - But, we think that is worth the effort if we have the time..........
