30 minute Payouts is broken AGAIN!

I had $93.78 available as a payout and normally I just do monthly payouts, but I'm short on funds so I did the 30 minute at a cost of $1.38. Seconds later I get a message stating that the payout "didn't go through". I looked and it said the payment was "cancelled". I know I didn't cancel the payout so **bleep**. I went back and did the 30-minute payout AGAIN at a cost of yet ANOTHER $1.38 and yet AGAIN seconds later I got the same "Payout didn't go through". I looked and again it says "cancelled". **bleep** is going on over there at Ebay? now I'm out for $2.68 when I barely make any profit thanks to Ebay charging 13.5% now, on top of the bull**bleep** taxes on top of the cost of labels and yeah, I'd love to donate to money, but when half my profits are being ripped away by Ebay, I can't afford to do that either anymore. I have to charge $320 for a sports card that's valued at $220, JUST SO I CAN MAKE THE $220. Get your house in order Ebay. You're NOT SOTHEBY's online Auctions nor HERITAGE online Auctions! The ONLY reason I chose to do a "store" was to reduce the costs of selling so if this is a reduction in costs, I'd really hate to see how much those poor **bleep**s without a "store" are being charged. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran. The stuff in my store was acquired with money that is non taxable because it's not considered income. So I get taxed on buying this **bleep** and I get taxed on selling this **bleep** which means I have to charge 1.75% more than things are worth which means less sales. I haven't said or done anything about it because there isn't a whole hell of a lot I can do about it by selling on Ebay, but if getting screwed out of money "fees" for payouts that don't go through is yet another money grab from Ebay, I'll just call an estate sale company and get rid of all the crap I've bought and cut my losses. I'm really getting fed up with comments from buyers on cost of shipping being to much or I'm charging way to much for items I'm selling. Ebay is a **bleep** IT company, you do NOT maintain ANY of my items in any security warehouses, you do NOT maintain ANY of my stock, you do NOT maintain anything other than a sub-contract for Pitney Bowes for labels, IT personnel for maintaining the site and MAYBE if it's not a program, an accountant for my account. If that is worth 13.5% of my sales, then I definitely need to just end this hobby quick fast and in a hurry. I get people rely on Ebay as main income source, not for me, this is a hobby and a way to make a couple extra bucks, which I'm really losing money on. I can't use any auction feature because you allow **bleep**s to use third party sniping tools rather than using extended bidding that would help sellers ESPECIALLY sellers like me! And FYI, yes I can claim all these taxes on my taxes, but I still don't get anything back like people who ARE able to work can. All I get back is a big fat $0 and normally I just say whatever, but I can't say whatever anymore! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I don't sell enough to justify buying a $400 a month store so I pay less in "fees" which is why I have a "basic" store. Maybe you should be charging those with $400 stores more in fees so your smaller stores can actually thrive, but who wants common sense right.

·3 years ago@antique_unique_a_little_bit_of_everything I know it doesn't help with the cash flow issue, but when an immediate payout fails, they do refund the fee.
If you look in your payment summary, you should see a credit for it.

OP3 years agoNo worries, it does help thank you. I did see that about 3 minutes after I typed the post. I suppose it was more of a venting post than anything. it stinks that 1/3rd of your sales goes to misc. garbage so you have to compensate which on Ebay is rough because everyone's on a race to the bottom.

·3 years agoSame with my account. Been trying to get my $$$$ since 9:30 am Pacific time. Also agree that fees are getting higher and higher with less and less sales, and I have been selling on ebay since 1999.
