Q: I understand Seller Tips, but when does repeated advice from ebay begin to sound like a nagging mother?A: The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 100th, 500th time I have to turn off these annoying reminders!After nearly 27 years on ebay, I don't want pop-ups, I want my/our sales to be the way they were before the Great Recession (2008/09).No, I will not set my handling time to 1 day. Stop asking me to.And I've already tried sending offers, thanks. It helps a little in very slow times, but it flatlines my earnings to go much lower. No to that.Promoting my listings might be worth it on the one or two items that would realize a profit. But ebay already collects 16-22% of each sale in fees. So, no to that also. Even when you ask twice per login, it's still no. And as for suggestions for re-selling items purchased through ebay... that's my decision when and if I choose to. Stop nagging about items you have no idea what my intentions for them are. Some people do collect for keeps. It seems that ebay has fallen into the trap of self-automation: "We will just keep notifying sellers of these 'opportunities' every time they login instead of using a fancy thing called a 'toggle' to allow sellers to see their 'my eBay' page uninterrupted."Otherwise, keep enjoying the negative effects of hyper-inflation in 2026.
