Help with this vessel or jug? Native American or not/
It has an unusual shape and there is writing on the bottom but no way to see it clear enough. I have had it for a few years now and I am more curious than ever before. Is it Native American? Is it old? Is it valuable?
Any help is appreciated. I tried goggle images but came up with nothing. Not even one match. Not sure where to start to find out more. Is it redware? hand made studio? Pottery Barn? Special type of vessel or jug or a pitcher? made by Jane in the 7th grade? Anything would be helpful. I do love this piece so I will be keeping it. Just want to know more about it.

OP8 months agoThis forum used to be very helpful. I'm guessing we wore them out with our questions. Or the good ones retired. I appreciate the time it requires to respond to many of posts a day. It was very much appreciated then and now.
