Postcard Room at World Expo of Philately, Boston 5/23-5/25 (Expo through 5/30/26)
Everything has come together quickly for the massive World Stamp Expo, held every 10 years in a different US city, this decade in Boston. In addition to the postcard selling room there will be a Postcard Exhibition Room next door. Plus the thousands of other philatelic exhibits on the main floor, with a large selling bourse of 100 dealers, Stamp University and 5 million stamp giveaway. The expo is free to enter with registration - you'll want to go more than one day.

OP2 months agoWe had a great weekend in the postcard room, can't thank the Expo and Postcard CLub people enough who made this happen. We shared the room with a large group of impressive exhibits.
The only drawback to the Expo is the forced involvement of the State of Massachusetts with its heavy handed thug-security and the grotesque price gouging at their monopoly food court. I don't remember the price gouging at Javitts in 2016. Pretty sure Javitts also didn't have to the full body searches by wanna-be TSA goons who don't even speak English. Being ripped off like that left a sour taste in my mouth and thats what I remember, not the amazing bourse and exhibits.
My load-in with the teamsters was fine. At least one of our other sellers did lose material on the way in and security was helpless in trying to trace it. Security seems to have cameras everywhere but they were helpless in trying to find what happened, so I seem to think it was one of their own Mass State worker. We'll probably hear later about the stuff that went missing overnight or on load out at the Mass Exposition.
