hello ebay community
whenever i try to purchase a listing, it says "We couldn't verify this card. Please provide a different card". I have tried every single card I own, different accounts, different browsers, incognito mode, different devices, nothing. does this have to do with the fact that these are visa gift cards? i am unable to use my real card for reasons that are private
please help!!!!!!! this has been going on for a while

·2 years agoI faced the same issue its easy to fix it. I simply called on the help line given on the visa card and asked them to activate online transactions for internet payments. They asked the simple details and activated. Then i tried again updating my card on ebay for fees payments and it was accepted

·2 years agoSomeone made a post in July that was enlightening.
They called Secure Spend prepaid VISA when their card didn't work, and they told her they flagged eBay, thus payments are blocked.

·2 years agoGift cards?....who bought them and is there money on them?....and is the receipt with the card stating there is money on them? Anyone can just grab these cards on a rack and walk out with them from a store.
