·1 year agoAn item has to be listed on eBay to be an eBay sale. There is no other way. eBay never assists in sales or payments of item listed on other sites. If it's not listed on eBay, your dealing with a thief.
You need to inspect it and pay in person if you choose to purchase it. Need to know the eBay item number to answer about any protection. Wired money is just like cash, it's not recoverable.

·1 year agoCan you give us the item number? We want to make sure it's listed on eBay. There are many scams involving vehicles. Once a wired payment is received you can't reverse the payment.

You need to do pre-purchase research and inspection before buying. Wired payments from a bank or a credit union are okay as long as you, the seller, the vehicle and the financial institutions are all located in the U.S. or Canada.

What is a vehicle purchase protection?
Sounds like a scam to me.

If so, does the listing show that the purchase "qualifies" for Vehicle Purchase Protection?
I purchased 2 vehicles on eBay. I inspected the vehicle before paying.
