Vat refund refusal
How common are refusals for refund requests you make for double vat charge? On what grounds can Ebay customer support refuse you this refund even if you have documentation?

·1 year ago@d.d.anderson - you're in Norway, assuming you're registered here on ebay.com - you probably won't get much feedback here with mostly U.S. sellers that don't have much experience with VAT.
Who have you been dealing with in eBay so far wrt to the VAT refund - have you tried their social media team for help -
Only use the Private DM or PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address, the email attached to your account, Item #, Case #, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.

OP1 year agoI expected this this response to come. I searched Ebay/ebay community forum europe but ebay.com was the only search answer i got so i had no other place to post it. I cannot post it on uk site. I'll say sorry even if i found no other option. I'll try remove this post.

·1 year ago@d.d.anderson- you don't need to remove your post - if your account is registered on ebay.com, then this is where you get help.
If you're on social media, then eBay Facebook or Twitter or Instagram is your best option as they won't be able to call you directly - the customer service teams there are usually very helpful.
