UNAUTHORIZED USE OF DEBIT CARD/HOW TO FIND WHERE IT WAS SHIPPED
My mom noticed today that several purchases--totalling around $400--had been made on Ebay using her bank debit card, and she doesn't even have an Ebay account. It wiped her checking account out, and it even went into overdraft.
She settled things with the bank, and they are issuing her a new card; but we want to know where these items were shipped, in an effort to find out who was using her card illegally.
How can we find out from Ebay where these items were shipped?
We will be filing a police report.
Thanks so much for any help information that might be helpful.

·2 years agoYou have reported it to your bank ? There is a number on the back of the card to call.

·2 years agoSomeone gained knowledge of your mom's debit card. It's actually easy for a thief to clone a card.
Adyen not eBay is who processed the buyer's payment.

·2 years agoEach charge on that bank debit card @Anonymous includes the actual eBay Order Number, like this:
Those eBay order numbers appear in this format eBay O*##-#####-#####
and the delivery address is in those orders. eBay can give you or the police that address.
1. Try leaving a PRIVATE message here for eBay, and give eBay that list of eBay order numbers.
2. Or contact the eBay executive escalations team by filing a report at BBB.
3. Otherwise, the police have their own link to reach eBay.

·2 years agoPerhaps consider this: If it's your own account, why would you need to ask eBay to look up your own order number? Instead, the suggestion was to ask via official channels, BBB, police, about those order numbers.

When you make the police report, they might be able to get some information from Ebay.
