Unable to end active listings – listings keep reappearing and generating fees
Hello,
I am posting this to see if other sellers are experiencing the same issue and to hopefully get attention from eBay staff.
We have stopped selling on eBay completely:
Our eBay Store subscription has been cancelled
All listings have been ended and removed multiple times
All third-party applications (e.g. Channable) have been fully disconnected, which is also visible on video
Despite this, our active listings keep reappearing automatically. Because of this:
The listings cannot be permanently ended
New fees and invoices continue to be generated
We have no way to prevent these charges from our side
Support keeps referring to a previous refund, but that situation is not related. In that earlier case, listings were uploaded without a store subscription. The current issue is a technical problem where listings cannot be removed, even though we have stopped using eBay entirely.
I have provided video evidence clearly showing:
No third-party apps connected
Listings being ended
Listings reappearing afterwards
Video evidence (WeTransfer):

Has anyone else experienced this?
And more importantly: how can active listings be force-ended when the system does not remove them correctly?
Any insight from other sellers or eBay staff would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

This forum is on eBay.com, which is based in the USA. This is a forum for eBay users, not eBay customer service, and you can't reach eBay staff here. I haven't seen any other reports of a problem like this on eBay.com.
None of your listings are visible here because you don't ship them to the USA. For other responders in the USA, here is a link to the OP's listings on eBay.nl, ebay Netherlands.
https://www.ebay.nl/sch/i.html?_ssn=japitrailerpartsbv&_sop=10&rt=nc&_fcid=146
I see over 1,100 listings there, almost all of which were started in late October, 2025. shortly after you registered. A few were started on Dec. 5, 2025. They have been renewing automatically each month since then. Those ones don't show any signs of having been ended or restarted, but I don't know how many you had, or how many were ended because they don't show up in search if they were ended early.
I am not going to sign up for a sketchy file-sharing site to view your video, and most here will not click on outside links like that. Your link redirected to a login/registration page.
Here are the instructions for how to end listings early on eBay.nl:
https://www.ebay.nl/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/ending-listing?id=4146
If that doesn't help, you can try asking on the eBay Netherlands community. They may have experienced this before.

OP8 months agoThank you for taking the time to respond.
I understand that this forum is US-based and not official eBay customer service, and I appreciate you checking my account on eBay.nl.
However, I would like to clarify a few important points.
The listings you are seeing on eBay.nl are not intentionally active. These listings have been ended multiple times from our side. The core issue is that, despite ending them, they reappear automatically and continue to renew, which is exactly the problem we are experiencing.
We have:
Cancelled our eBay Store subscription
Stopped selling on eBay entirely
Ended all listings multiple times
Fully disconnected all third-party tools
Despite this, the listings continue to show as active and keep renewing, which results in ongoing fees. This means the standard “end listing early†process does not resolve the issue, even when followed correctly.
Regarding the video: I understand your concern about external links. The video was shared only to demonstrate that:
No third-party apps are connected
Listings are actively being ended
Listings reappear afterwards
It is not meant to redirect anyone unnecessarily, but rather to provide proof that the issue is not user-related.
I am not claiming this is a widespread issue, but I am trying to determine whether others — especially EU-based sellers — have encountered a similar system behavior, or whether eBay can force-end listings at a technical level when normal controls fail.
I will also post this on the eBay Netherlands community as suggested.
Thank you again for your input.

There is no sign on those listings that they have EVER been ended.
Whatever you are doing to end them, it has not worked. Most of those listings have been continuously active for 3 months. They have not been ended and relisted, or restarted. They just keep renewing every month, on the same day of the month as they were started.
So whatever you are doing to end the listings, it has not been completed successfully. When this happens, it is almost always because of user error, so that has to be ruled out first.
If you want to post screenshots or videos using the camera or video icon at the top of the text box (see below), you can use that to show us how you have tried to end the listings. Perhaps someone will be able to give you some suggestions.
Some new users on the forum are blocked from posting pictures because of scammers abusing the privilege. If you can't post screenshots, you can send them to me in a DM (click the envelope icon in the top right corner of the forum page) and I will post them for you.
I have never used the video upload, so I can't help you with that. I would suggest that you post screenshots instead. Most responders here are familiar with those.
