Two Periodic reviews in less than a month with 100% feedback
So last month around Christmas time eBay hit me with a performance review when I’ve pretty much had a flawless selling record. Talked to a SR and they said it was random and that everyone gets them. Last week I sold a Tiffany jewelry box for around $1500 and I shipped out and when funds became available I tried withdrawing $300 out of my eBay funds and bam! Hit with another performance review. Is there a specific reason for this happening? I’ve pretty much had a flawless record and have 100% positive feedback and over 80 sales. I got a email yesterday saying the review will be finished shortly but its the next day and it’s still under review. I’ve still been still selling and the amount being held is almost up to $2000. Anyone go through the same thing? All the items I sold have been shipped the day of or day after purchase; and the SR couldn’t tell me why exactly my account went into review. I’d understand if I had bad feedback or pending returns but when I have a flawless record and I’m not a new seller I don’t know why they would put me under review twice in under a month. Any help or input would be appreciated!

·1 year agoSelling high value items can attract their attention. I suspect that is what is causing it. Also you don't have much feedback.

OP1 year agoI figured that’s what might have triggered it; but only about ~50% of people I’ve sold to have left feedback which I’m actually thankful for. Nowadays it’s hard for anyone to leave feedback even if I provide excellent customer service. I just hope it gets reviewed sooner than later because I’ve been making a couple sales everyday and the money is just being held. Appreciate your response ðŸ™

·1 year agoyour feedback is part of the system algorithm, it would be wise to add a little note in each item packaging saying basically thank you, any problems? please reach out me (phone#) and otherwise if you are fully satisfied then kindly leave me a feedback review.
in many cases this nudges people to leave a positive review that otherwise may not.
positive feedback helps your account. the more get the better especially if you do not have many feedback
