strange last 4 digit banking account number
after two years back on eBay I decided to list items for sale, business has been good and I was all excited waiting for the money to go into my checking account, low and behold eBay came up with a bank account number that does not exist and sent my money to it ,the only way I noticed it was the other day this big red banner showed up saying I needed to give my banking info again ,it was then I realized they had sent my money to an account ending in a 4 digit number that isn't even close to the one I have, this is ridiculous and they insist that I did it. I deleted this bogus account and gave them the real one , now I am waiting for about $150.00 they owe me, has this ever happened to anyone else and what did you do, I would appreciate any feedback from the community

·8 months agoI'm having the same issue. It's asking me to login to my bank with my username/pw and then autopopulating with a random 4 digit number. It won't let me change it either.

·2 years agoKneejerk reaction... have you changed bank accounts since two years back? Was it possibly your old number?

OP2 years agono it's not been changed, I have no idea how they came up with such a random last four digit and the weird thing is the money went into my checking ,even the bank couldn't figure out how it got there
