scam ebay communication and Ask Tech SUPPORT 55
I was charged $55 by Ask Tech SUPPORT based on a scam by ebay communication that offered me a secure billing form of $1 per question. After 20 attempts, I could not communicate again because instead of the offered $5, I was constantly served an unacceptable form at a much higher price /$55, $40, $29/.
What should I do, I don't know for what purpose the money of $55 was taken from me?
I don't know how I can achieve further communication because they constantly offer me an expensive form. I don't want to pay another $55

·1 year agoThis screams scam. You'd better change all your passwords before you find your various accounts compromised and your bank balance showing zero.
eBay customer service nor tech support charges to ask questions.
Sounds like you involved yourself in a scam perpetrated by scammers not eBay.
If you have questions contact eBay through Help & Contact customer service page open a chat, not some fly by night link you found surfing the web.

·1 year agoDid it happen to be from a third-party ad ON eBay? I ask because I remember this, and supposedly, it has been addressed. Maybe tagging the eBay employee that provided the solution in this thread can assist you, if that is the case?

OP1 year agoWhen I ask for an answer, all the employees offer me a "fraudulent form" for $1, and when the form is revealed, it costs $55. So I can't make any contact with the Ask Tech SUPPORT service that took my money

you must have contracted with some 'other' "support" that offers "help" for a fee

·1 year agoWas the initial contact from the "employees" in an email outside of eBay then? I thought it was a possibility that you clicked on an ad. Sorry about what has happened to you; hope you can get to the root of the issue.

OP1 year agoAs far as I can see, Ask Tech SUPPORT is the service that "Ebay communication "efers me to to give me an answer to my question with a charge of $1, but in reality they scam me for $55 by falsifying the wrong form
Where did you find this "Ask tech support " ? There is nothing like that on eBay's website. eBay will never send you off site to answer questions. You Obviously clicked a link in a phishing eMail.
Again eBay doesn't charge you money to ask questions.

Afterthought... we probably don't know how to advise you regarding the scam off the eBay platform. Anyone???

·1 year agoYou found a site on the internet who directed you to contact eBay Communications. As far as I know there is no such site called eBay Communications. Did this site you found give you a link or phone number to eBay? If they did it was a scam. You talk to eBay after you contact eBay from this site by clicking on Help & Contact, and they don't answer directly. You leave your number and they call you back. And they solve your problem FREE. They do not refer you to a site where you pay for support.
You need to cancel your card and dispute those charges on your card. Change your passwords.

I can't communicate for $55, because that would be another scam.
I'm afraid it's not some kind of scam that will keep taking my money.

1) What do you think it is, if it's not some kind of scam to take your money?
2) What kind of 'form' are you referring to?
3) Who are you trying to communicate with?

OP1 year agoThis is a common technical scam where they persistently offer a formular (expensive) formular to expertly answer a trivial question.
The form refers to a "formular payment form."
I communicate with "ebay communication" which directs me to Ask Tech SUPPORT and gives me a false formular.

^^^ Do you mean an invoice? Don't pay any invoices. We can answer trivial questions here for free. And I'm still confused...

or I am just plain missing what you are talking about....
Ask Tech Support? ebay? Did ebay withdraw $55 from your selling account to satisfy the debt?

OP1 year agoI needed an answer to a question, E Bay's "communication service" referred me to Ask Tech SUPPORT where it offered me a "secure form" for which I have to pay $1. In reality it was a fraudulent form of $55 and took that money from my bank account.
The problem is even bigger when I asked for an explanation they offered me a so-called secure form of $1, and that form was also for $55. So I couldn't communicate at all.
