Restricted account - eBay has not paid in over 180 days.
My account was closed in November of last year. I never had a bad rating or anything like that, yet it was still closed. The problem is not that my account was closed, but that I've been waiting almost a year for eBay to pay me the balance I have in my account. According to their policies, it should take 180 days, but I'm nearing 365 days of waiting. It's practically impossible to reach eBay through chat because they say you have to call, and when you call, they say it's resolved through chat
Does anyone know how I can get in touch since eBay has already violated its own policies? Or if there's an email that could be helpful, because all I receive are automated emails saying my account was suspended.

·1 year agoWhat policies did eBay violate?
They held your money for 6 months to make sure any chargebacks come from your funds. Then they probably sent your money to your state. Contact unclaimed funds there.

OP1 year agoI only received this communication without any prior notice:
"We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly and it’s important that we keep our marketplace safe for everyone. For more information, see our article on how and why accounts can be suspended or review our User Agreement."
I've already checked my eBay account, and it shows the balance on hold, but there are no related transactions in my bank account. It's been almost 360 days on hold, and it's impossible to get in touch with eBay, as I only receive automatic responses stating that my account is suspended

Your issue isn't the same as the OP because your eBay account appears to be still open.
Perhaps create a new thread of your own, describe what the problem is and maybe somebody can help you.
