Refund/Ebay money back issues
In 2020, I bought a cell phone from a dealer. I found the item to be defective and requested a refund. I got a return slip and shipped the item back to the seller. He/she received the item, tested it and wrote me back that there was nothing wrong with the item. also wrote that I was trying to scam him/Ebay and as a result he would not issue me a refund nor return the item to me.
I complained to Ebay and Ebay issued me another return slip.
Each time I contact Ebay I got return slip Remember, the item is with the seller Since seller has the item it looks as if I had failed to return the item. I contacted Ebay for money back gurrantee, again I was sent return slip . Again the item is with the seller. In November of 2023 I finally got hold of ebay after several phone call attempts. The agent reviewved the case and told me that I am due refund under Ebay money back gurrantee. This is April 2024 still no refund.
I am caught between the seller an Ebay money back gurrantee. Iam Still waiting for my refund. What do I do now?

Sorry, but all deadlines for handling this have expired.
You needed to actually open an item not as described case. You do not have to actually get hold of eBay.
You had 30 days to open a case with eBay. That's obviously expired.
You had 180 days to open a case with Paypal. That too has expired.
You had a certain length of time to do a chargeback on your credit card. Expired.
The CS rep lied to you. They are well known to tell you anything to get you off the phone.
Please read the MBG. If you don't understand it, return here and ask.

·2 years agoSorry but your return for refund closed ages ago.
eBays Money Back Guarantee allows up to 30 days from date of delivery of the item to open returns. That time has come and gone.
Paypal gives you 180 days from date of delivery to file a chargeback claim, if you paid that way, but the ship has sailed on that .
Credit cards only give you so much time to file a chargeback claim. You are much too late for that as well.
No company offers refunds past 30 days. You're looking for a refund 4 years too late. Sorry.
