Receiving payments from buyer

I'm a first time seller on eBay. For example the buyer made a purchase and then immediately cancelled it. The buyer wants his money back. Is eBay holding the money? If yes, how many days? How can I refund to buyer?Any help is appreciated.

They can hold the funds for 30 days.

You'll have to provide a funding source to pay the refund.

If you cancel the transaction, and only have pending funds in your account, Ebay will take the refund from your payment source.
