Payouts on hold??
Email stating my payouts are on hold and they want receipts for the items sold/listed for the past 30 days?? I am a storage unit buyer and there is no detailed list that comes with your purchase or receipt. I'm at a loss as to what I should do....

Add to the other concerns would be the number of vintage items you have listed as NEW.
Some sellers are extremely liberal to list items in mint condition as NEW, thinking they will be easier to sell, but a 2009 item listed as brand new creates the potential for unhappy buyers and distrustful lookers.
When they review your submissions, they will be skeptical about many of the items you listed as NEW.

·8 months agoeven storage locker purchases include a receipt.....
but yes ebay will "vette" sellers and are required too by law, which is the process you are currently being subjected to.
If you cannot prove that you are a real person (not Pinocchio) and have real goods acquired thru legal means then that's the end-of-the-line. (photo's are not accepted)
they are not going to use your info to try and get goods from your suppliers at lower prices, etc, it's all just legally required verifiable information they must have.
you may also be required to provide business license information or a state/city permit to conduct business, even if it is online only.
note that, that process is not done overnight, it can take days or weeks, have patience and provide everything requested.

OP8 months agoI'm not hiding. I've sent all the identity documentation requested. And I'm not worried about eBay sourcing from my supplier. I purchase storage units filled with 1000's of misc items. Yes the storage auction website gives me a receipt as well as the facility when I show up to finish paying and clean out. And I have all my business papers as well as my tax identification documents. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that I've given everything requested and that's not good en6ouâµgh but that's all I have. So they have my earned funds, roughly $1000 and they want me to continue filling orders without getting paid for them? Who does this....not me. I've ended all my auctions and will continue with my appeal. Thanks for all the uplifting message of hope and encouragement. Don't know what I would have done without yalll

·8 months agoWith all your not as described complaints in just one year, you are treading on thin ice. I expect Ebay is looking for a way to suspend you, even if you do provide those receipts, good luck.

·8 months agoSomeone has stacks of receipts to prove that:
a) They rented the storage unit before you
b) They were in the hospital in a coma and unable to pay the rent
They should have the detailed receipts to satisfy eBay's requirements

·8 months agowhen eBay asks for receipts you need to supply them.
I can guess that being a fairly new seller with many negative and neutral FB has eBay questioning your sales.
You can try sending a receipt for the storage units you bought and explaining that there is not a detailed list.
Im not sure it will work but if it is all you have its better to submit something.
