Payouts failing every time...
My payout keeps failing! I have tried 3 times and its failed 3 times.
I know my bank account is correct because I used the "sign in with your bank" feature in ebay.
My name matches my bank account name.
I am stumped. I am Canadian if it matters. Does anyone know what to do?
Support says to contact my bank, my bank says they arent blocking any deposits and see no attempts from ebay...

·3 years agoUnfortunately, debugging this kind of problem requires access to personal information that should never be posted to a forum. I can suggest that 'sign into your bank' is not validation that transactions wont have issues in ways that only a payment processor can diagnose.
This is why the 'micropayments' sequence is initiated, to verify the full round trip handshake for a banking transaction.
There are APIs that interconnect banking transactions that at a high level might report "Error 7342" which by design does not disclose the actual error. This prevents hackers from submitting banking requests to 'fish' for credentials.
One possible solution is to completely delete a banking configuration and set it up again from scratch, but it probably will introduce the micropayment sequence...a way to troubleshoot it but also perhaps just another delay in receiving your deposits. Another possibility is to use another acct, like a savings account, or a second checking account to see if it is acct specific, again likely it will go down the micropayment steps and take some time.
Sorry I dont have any other advice. Best wishes for resolving your issue.
