Payout sent to closed bank account?

I just closed my bank account a couple days ago, and didnt realize my payout was going to be sent so quickly. They sent the money to the closed account, what will happen? I already updated the account as of now.

What will happen? Your money may return to your eBay account as a failed payout.

Just curious...what compels people to change banks? I have been with the same bank for 20 years.
