Payments on hold
I sell larger ticket items on eBay. Most of what we do is 8500.00 to 20,000. and it has been that way from the beginning some 24 years ago.
About 6 months ago eBay started holding our payouts and keeping them long after the item was tracked and delivered. My phone conversations are a complete waste of time. One day the reason is because "the transaction a higher than average amount" or "it's just a random thing - not my company singled out".
Whatever the reason is, it's complete **bleep**.
I have been selling on eBay now, as I said, 24 years and have done over 3 million dollars worth of business. You would think that by now that might mean something to them. I'm not going to start scamming now.
I find it insulting and I'm sick of it to the point that I'm almost done.

OP2 years agoThank you for the response to my recent post.
After 5 conversations with eBay regarding the holding of payments and never getting any sort of response that made any sense, infrequent sales and being seen as a new seller with almost every sale makes perfect sense.
I very much appreciate whatever eBay can do to close the door on scams. It's the worst thing that we as honest sellers have to deal with.
I'm being scrutinized as a possible scam and what you said explains that and I need to either be fine with it and understand it or get my sales up.
