Why am I waiting until August 5th to get my money? Why not just give it to me, I shouldn't have to wait a month for my money to be on hold for another 2 or 3 weeks when I SHOULD HAVE gotten it 2 weeks AFTER, I did it last time so why wait now? Do I just need to contact my bank to make it an express payment?

·3 weeks ago@etherealphoenix There are a variety of reasons why a payment may be held. New and infrequent sellers are one reason. While you have sold before, it seems you did not sell between May and July 15. Then, the five sales you've had since July 15 have all been high dollar. Four of the five sales were the exact item, three of which sold on the same day.
You've got a lot going on and lots of reasons why eBay is holding your money.

Talking to an eBay agent won't help. They do not have the ability to make time speed up.

OP3 weeks ago3 of them were refunds/cancellations though, if I wipe all those sales, would that help?

·3 weeks ago@etherealphoenix What reason did you use to cancel the order? If you said it was a buyer issue, did the buyer actually ask you to cancel their order?

OP3 weeks agoI had cancelled one it due to a shipping issue because of USPS couldn't find an address, a 2nd because I hit shipped by mistake (fat fingered and dozing off) and the 3rd I forgot the reason but regardless, I messaged and explained the issue to each person in full transparency and gave my deepest apologies to them

·3 weeks ago · Edited@etherealphoenix Messagung the buyer doesn't matter. If there was an issue with an address, that's fine. If you cancelled because of out of stock, that's not good. If you cancelled and blamed the buyer when they didn't ask to cancel, that's equally bad. If the buyers reported you, it's no surprise eBay is holding your funds.
You need to get yourself together. If not eBay holding your funds will be the least of your worries. They will ban you if you keep canceling orders.unless there is an issue with the address or the buyer asks to cancel. And manipulating buyers into asking them to cancel is equally bad.

·3 weeks agoRight, you'll find out that Ebay isn't consistent on their holds.
They might let 1 or 2 payments go through, then start holding funds.

·3 weeks agoThe agents you might reach have no authority to release your funds. The holds are initiated by algorithm and also released by algorithm. No human intervention whatsoever.
I would not believe anything an agent might tell you to get you off the phone and on to the next call.
