Order cancelled money never refunded.
I had bought an Iphone 12 from a buyer on march 23 and had wanted to cancel it because I found a better price, instead of cancelling it I told the buyer to ship it, I came back the next day to see that my account was suspended and there was nothing I could do to get it back. I called Ebay support and they told me that the order was cancelled and not shipped, and if I wanted to get a refund id have to go through a dispute with my bank. I used cashapp to pay and they denied my dispute, all I wanted was a refund and I feel that I may not get my money back.

·2 years agoCash app is not connected to a bank is it? Thats probably why your refund with them was denied. Did the seller ask you to pay that way? As mentioned, that is not an accepted payment on Ebay.Did you find this phone listing on Ebay or another site promising Ebay buyer protection?

·2 years agoI'm a bit confused by your use of buyer and seller. Are you saying YOUR eBay account was suspended? Just where did you send the payment to was it through eBay or direct to the seller?

OP2 years agoIm the buyer, I bought an Iphone and payed for it on ebay. That account was suspended and I called ebay, they told me that the order would be cancelled but I never got my money back.

·2 years agoIt is very hard to get suspended as a buyer. What was the exact reason for the suspension? If it was "risk to the community" or something of that nature, you are probably out of luck.
Perhaps check your state's unclaimed property in 6 months to a year and see it your money might show up there.

·2 years agoYour going to have to cal eBay again. I hope you did not wait too long. Some reps give incorrect info. eBay should cover that. Those cash apps are unsafe, always pay be credit card.
