On-Demand payouts ONLY?

So, this is probably going to sound like a silly thing to say but I need to have my money stay on my eBay account until I needed it. Here is my issue. I need to make 5k to take my wife on her dream vacation. However, my eBay sales are not a lot each month, and right now eBay takes my earnings and automatically transfers them into our checking account. When that happens, my wife does silly things like buy food and pay bills. I need the money in the account for longer than the once a month scheduled payout. I want it on demand ONLY. Is this possible?

·2 weeks agoIf you sign up to use your ebay funds for shopping ebay will allow you to set no payout schedule and have on-demand payouts only. That is the only way I've found to shut them off. I do suggest though that you should never let ebay touch your actual working account, you should set up a special one just for your online sales.

·3 weeks agoCan't you just transfer amounts as needed into separate account at your bank? You could open a secondary for this occasion. I do just that, I'm paid into checking and transfer some into saving. Earns a little interest that way to.
