·1 year agoIt's "Buyer Pays YOU for shipping'; even though it is shortened to 'Buyer Pays Shipping'.
Then YOU buy the actual label.

·1 year agoAdditional note: I see you are charging buyers discounted shipping rates.
The question is whether you want to charge buyers retail rates or discounted rates. Keep in mind that you have access to discounted rates when you purchase labels on eBay regardless of how much you charge the buyer.
The setting to offer buyers discounted rates can be found on your shipping preferences page under the carrier specific discounts setting: https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf
Since eBay charges a fee on total cost buyer pays (item + ship + tax), by charging discounted rates you are losing money on every single package. If you want to make up for that you can add a handling fee or increase your item costs - or simply charge retail rates for a built in cushion instead of passing on the discounts.

Buyer pays eBay item + shipping + sales tax.
eBay takes selling fees on that total amount.
eBay remits sales tax to buyer's state.
eBay sends the balance item + shipping (less fees) to the seller.
Seller uses the funds to buy a shipping label.
eBay gave you the buyer's shipping money after taking out their fees so you can use it to purchase the label. View your transaction details here:

·1 year agoare these charges "adjustments" if you did not enter the weight /dimensions correctly then you may get extra shipping charges. It is wise to enter them correctly to avoid this type of problem

·1 year agoYou are not being charged occasionally for buyer pays shipping. You always pay shipping. eBay charges the buyer shipping but they give the shipping money to you and you buy the label.
