No more next day payouts
I just spoke to a supervisor and she confirmed they are eliminating next day payouts. You'll be paid 2-3 days after item is delivered. **bleep**?

·3 months agoI've heard this many times, so far no change. Now it may be (noting the reference to private sellers) that it is happening in the UK or other countries and not the US. I've never seen a real separation in the US site between business and private sellers.

·3 months agoThe best thing to do in the future is to create your own website or find another platform; selling on eBay will be impossible.

The main places people report issues are:
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
Good for complaints involving payment processing, fund holds, or financial practices.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
For deceptive business practices or unfair conduct.
New York State Attorney General Consumer Complaint Form
If you’re in New York, the state AG can sometimes help with marketplace or payment disputes.
Better Business Bureau
Not a government agency, but companies often respond to BBB complaints.
Before filing, it helps to gather:
screenshots of payout schedules,
emails from eBay,
transaction IDs,
tracking/delivery proof,
and copies of the updated terms.
If your concern is specifically:
delayed payouts,
unexplained holds,
inability to access funds,
or sudden account restrictions,
the CFPB is usually the strongest government channel because it deals directly with financial/payment complaints.

We are making changes to the way we process payments on eBay. Going forward, we’ll make your funds available for payout within 48 hours after we’ve confirmed delivery of the item. Until then, you’ll see a “hold†on your funds. This process helps keep our marketplace safe.
It’s in the new Payment Terms and Conditions starting 4th February 2025. For private sellers funds will not become available for payout until 48 hours after delivery confirmation. If there is no confirmation, i.e. untracked or just not updated, it is 14 days after presumed date of delivery.

I think not.
I still have next day payouts as well still.

My payouts are the same.. Nothing has changed. I do find their “supervisors†might be the person sitting next to them in the call center,
