No Help x20
Summary: auctionsco is experiencing ongoing issues with funds being held by a platform and has been repeatedly told by multiple employees that the issue is resolved, yet it remains unresolved. They are considering arbitration and potentially filing a police report due to accrued fees and frustration. kaling945 shares a similar experience and is planning to contact their state attorney general, noting recent negative news about the platform. kensgiftshop inquires if any payments have been made or if the funds are held until delivery.
For a month no one at eBay can resolve my issue. There is a problem with my funds showing a hold. I have written responses claiming the issue is resolved and funds will be availble within 2 days, (x5), 1 day (x5) and within 12 hours (x4). Over a dozen different eBay employees have stated they have resolved it and funds to be availble but it's all lies. Recently each time I have been having the employee send me an email stating the issue is resolved. It's hard to believe no one at any level can fix this. They have even taken it "off line" with no resolved. I hear we haven't seen this before a lot. My next step is going to arbitration. I understand it takes a month before they respond and when they do just releasing the money isn't acceptable. I have $120 in bank fees 8 hours of time on phone hold. my creditability questioned and immesurable frustration. I deserve at least $2,000 in damages. There isn't a judge in the land who wouldn't sde with me. I will also file a police case for theft or fraud. I believe this will be eligable for small claims court. How do I get this resolved ? It's to the point eBay should be held accountable for my damages

Have you been paid anything or are they just holding funds until after the item has been delivered?

·3 weeks agoSame here. I've called and spoken with eBay reps twice. Each time was a 30 minute call because they had to put me on hold while they spoke with another department. Both reps claimed that eBay was doing this for my security, there supposedly checking fraudulent accounts. But that's not what their message to me states. I have the same valid payment methods on file that I've had for 13 years. Everything is exactly as it has been which is a valid. The second person I spoke with at eBay said they were escalating the issue but could not tell me anytime for him for when it would be resolved. So I'm filing a contacting my state attorney general for their assistance. eBay being in the news the last couple of days for their horrific actions in 2023, I'm documenting everything.
