No full refunds on EU import VAT overpayments anymore?
obviously i want to further discuss this old problem but thread immediately got closed after i posted.
i am getting charged VAT twice regularly since the "great invention" of IOSS
until my last purchase this was not such a big problem as it was only a hassle but ebay always refunded the full VAT they charged when i had to pay it again at delivery.
But now they only gave a partial refund and claim "shipping VAT is not refundable". Don't get what this means. I paid all my VAT obligations at delivery so i think ebay has to refund the full VAT they collected.

OP1 year agojust wanted to let everyone know, i made a paypal claim for this issue ebay not fully refunding double charged VAT and paypal decided in my favor. So obviously paypal agrees that ebay has to refund the FULL VAT in case of double VAT charge. Still this behaviour is not OK. I am sure there are a lot of people not claiming this and letting these double VAT charges go through thats why they are trying to make some easy extra money with this behaviour.
