Need Immediate Help – $800 Gift Cards Frozen Despite Submitting Proof
I’ve submitted all required documents multiple times to unfreeze $800 in eBay gift cards. I followed every instruction: photos front/back, receipts, and handwritten note. Despite this, customer service continues to delay and reject valid proof. I have filed a BBB complaint and am ready to pursue legal action if this isn’t resolved now. Please escalate this to a supervisor or team that can resolve it properly.

Did you contact eBay through the Help & Contact link on eBay or from an internet search? It matters.
Nobody here can escalate this because we are buyers/sellers and not eBay employees.
BBB won't resolve anything.
Make sure you and your attorney read the user agreement you signed

OP1 year agoIn my situation, eBay froze my gift cards after I loaded more than 4, even though their system allowed it. They claim there’s a 4-card limit, but didn’t stop me, then froze everything when I tried to use them. At this point, I’m convinced even if I only used one card, they still would’ve frozen it. If you read through the community, this keeps happening—cards get frozen, and they make you submit receipts and jump through hoops. Feels like a scam. I followed all their rules, and there’s still no resolution.

They froze $300 for me. i was able to use 225 of it before they froze it again
