my eBay gift card # (location)
hello I made a purchase with a physical eBay gift card a couple of months ago. There was still about $7 left on the card. I'd like to make another purchase from eBay and use up the rest of the card. I looked around and don't see the card anywhere. Would the card # be in my eBay account somewhere since I had used it once to make a purchase?

·2 years agoWorld is big on personal responsibility. Buyers job is to handle payment. business job is to offer items for sale. Normally a business does not manage a buyers form of payment nor does a buyer manage the business items for sale.
On a different note - gift cards have been on the way out on ebay based on all the issues posted by people not having them work. Hope you get to use the balance - but, I also hope you recall the exact balance as that card would uniquely be the only way to check the balance.

OP2 years agoNo it's not there in My eBay account under payments. I think what it is is eBay already has the money from the gift card that was purchased so they have no incentive to let you have access to the info

·2 years agoIt should be under accounts on your my eBay page then choose payments. If you still have the card, you can re enter it. But is still should be there unless you purchased as a guest.
