Message to seller not sent
I sent a message to the seller about the item I purchased not fitting, but recieved a AI reply that the message was not sent.
Is my message being reviewed for approval and will be sent if it meets guidelines?

OP2 weeks agoI ordered a kickstand for a motorcycle that included a spring to connect to the motorcycle when parked. I want to keep the stand, but the spring is too long and the stand will not stay in place when the motorcycle is being ridden.
I want to ask the seller if he has a shorter spring to replace the one he sent and I will return the longer spring in exchange.

·2 weeks ago@twodogs75757 Messages to sellers do not go through an approval process. Sometimes they can be denied if the system thinks are you trying to take a sell off the platform.
You should not need to message the seller. If an item does not fit and the seller accepts returns, you can simply open a return, select "does not fit" and the system will notify the seller to send you a shipping label or offer you a refund.
If the seller sent you a different size than you ordered and that is why it does not fit, then you would open item not as described, explain that you did not order that size and upload a photo of the tag to show the tag size is different than the one in the listing.
If the seller does not accept returns and they did send you the item you ordered, then you will have to keep the item even if it does not fit.
Again, there is really no need to message the seller.

I want to ask the seller if he has a shorter spring to replace the one that was included with the sale and I will send the original back. The kickstand leg works fine and I only need a shorter spring and need to ask the seller.
