Item was forworded but its a holiday
"Your item was forwarded to a different address at 8:36 am on September 2, 2024 in ****, ****"
I shipped the item to the correct address the buyer wanted with the qr code I was provided by ebay when I bought the shipping label. Am i liable for this error from the seller? I heard from a ebay thread that it could be a forwarding scam. I haven't messaged the buyer cause I wanted to contact usps and ebay but i'm not sure I never had this happen and this is my second time making a sell on ebay any advice on what I should do my payment still says its on hold it says ill recieve my payment in 24 hours after delivery but its still on shipped not delivery. I don't want to lose money over this when i did everything correctly so please any tips

There are still lots of folks who work on holidays.
One of the jobs which I worked from 1988 thru 1993, we received NO paid holidays -- Christmas was counted as one of our regular days off.
Talk about a cheap boss.

Mail is processed on "Holidays".
