Issue with checkout (payment)
I’m having trouble completing a payment on eBay. I’ve tried using my debit card, PayPal (with my debit card already linked), a credit card, and Google Pay, but none of the payments go through. Because all methods are failing, I’m unsure whether this is an issue with my eBay account, a temporary restriction, a bank decline, or a verification problem. I’ve checked my PayPal account and don’t see any limitations, and my billing details appear to be correct. I’d appreciate any advice on what might cause this and how to resolve it so I can complete my purchase.

·8 months agoSorry this may or may not be helpful, but for ONLINE payments, you cannot use a debit card. You can use a DEBIT VISA or DEBIT MASTERCARD but not a simple, stand alone debit card. The payment simply will not go through. It is not that the card is not working, it is that you have to use a payment carrier system linked to the card (e.g. such as in the Visa or Mastercard system) you are still using your own money, but you are using another payment portal/platform to complete that transaction.
