I need help with my funds
So its telling me the package was delivered , buyer hasnt messaged me in few days after delivery so i figured nothing of it, today i go and check through my past orders and funds on hold for this package i was well into september,. i sent it out early august,. then it tells me that postcode didnt match and its waiting for seller confirm or whatever, it does tell me a date where my funds will arrive,. seller hasnt said anything, tracking was correct everything was fine usps tracking on the website says delivered, i just need help or idk what to do , will i receive my funds on that date its listed?

·11 months agoWhen you read about selling on eBay, hopefully before you began selling, did you read the part about your funds being held for up to 30 days?

New and infrequent sellers can and will have payments held for 30 days.
eBay would rather have the funds come from you if the buyer on day 29 files a Not As Described case.
Are you the buyer or seller? Your post is somewhat confusing.

OP11 months agoIm the seller, The buyer texted me and said he was on vacation but family received the package and everything was ok. Just ebay had a message above that order i sent out saying,
“Thank you for shipping your order and uploading the tracking details. Unfortunately, delivery could not be confirmed because the tracking postcode does not match the delivery address postcode.†Ending with the date i will receive my funds. I was just worried, and needed some confirmation on what was going on, im also a new seller as well so this was a expensive purchase .

·11 months agoFunds can be on hold because you are a new seller, it can take 30 days. Did you join managed payments?

OP11 months agoEbay sent me this above the order i shipped out, “Thank you for shipping your order and uploading the tracking details. Unfortunately, delivery could not be confirmed because the tracking postcode does not match the delivery address postcode.†Since last week it got delivered and everything was fine with the buyer said that it was delivered, but he was on vacation and said that his family has received the package. I didnt notice until last night that little message above the order made me worry i wasnt gonna get my funds, even though it got delivered and everything, buyer confirmed it was delivered as well. Maybe just something on ebay , It does list a date on when i will get my funds though so

·11 months agoDid you put the tracking number into eBay when they asked you for it (your message is a bit confusing).
You are the seller right? Did your buyer file a claim that they didn't get their item?
What does well into September mean?

OP11 months agoIm the seller , tracking number matched up to everything accordingly, I have the receipt and everything , it was perfect, says it delivered on both ends eBay and USPS. The buyer was on vacation and I texted him yesterday. Said his family has received the package and everything was delivered , It was an expensive item so maybe that’s why they held it first week of September when I sold it August 11 , I am a new seller i never sold anything like that for that price, I was just worried about what was going on because it said it got delivered in a week went by and he didn’t text me, so i figured everything was fine but the funds said that it was on hold until September but I was thinking maybe I would’ve come earlier if there wasn’t a problem with the mismatch of postcode, but that wouldn’t be the case because he said that it was delivered in his family, got it.

I think you should get your funds when they said. Since you are a new seller they will most likely hold those funds for 30 days due to the fact that your buyer could return the item or have damage etc...So if you sold it August 11th you would most likely receive around/or before 30 days.
Once you sell consistently the funds really aren't held that long anymore. Mine are held a day or two and over the weekend. You can get faster payments but I believe there is a charge for that. I know it is a pain especially when you need the funds.
My concern is the issue that the tracking is not showing up as delivered. Can you go into the USPS website and type in that tracking number again and see if there were any updates since you wrote your message? It is a strange message and even though your buyer says they received it I would always want the tracking to show as delivered.
