I got an unscheduled payout
I checked and I'm only set to get them weekly on Tuesday. Anyone else? What does it mean? I didn't see any fees or money taken out for an express demand payment.

·11 months agoIts now a month later, and I too received an unexpected small payout 2 days ago. I'm not on a schedule, eBay pays me within a day or so of my item selling, I'm just an occasional seller. Last item was sold several weeks ago and was long since paid, yet I got $1.08 with no explanation. It doesn't appear in my seller hub either. Dunno? My cynical side wants to blame it on some kind of smartphone crap...

·1 year agoI got one too & with Devon's note that they've got a sitewide ticket, makes me wonder if it was an error? Will it be removed? Why is the UK giving a reason & the US opened a ticket? Seems like confusion is reigning.

·1 year agoAdd one of my accounts to the list of ones getting a random payout today. It shows pending on my personal bank account so it appears to be a weird glitch

·1 year agoYeah. I'm set for biweekly payouts. My last scheduled payout was sent on 07/15/2025. Then, another an unscheduled one was sent 3 days later on the 18. I have no idea why this is happening.

·1 year agoI also just noticed an unscheduled payout to me this morning. My normal Tuesday payout had come in just fine, but now I have another payout just a few days later? Something has gone wrong.

eBay just made up for missing some Tuesday "weekly" payouts by sending it out today.
too much work for them to figure out who got slighted on Tuesday. Just send all "weekly" seems what has been done.
I took an "on demand" on Wednesday after not getting a "Tuesday".
I got one today. It is in my CU checking. Math is all good. No $$ issues.

·1 year agoYes, the same thing happened to us. We had an unscheduled payment today (Friday), when our normal scheduled payments are Tuesday. I just got off the phone with Ebay customer service and they admitted it was a technical issue that they are working on. They assured me our money is safe and we will get that payment from today, then back to normal scheduled payments next week.

·1 year agoMe too. But when my bank finally acknowledged it, the payout was marked "pending" until July 21. That is regular payout day. And still...no statement or explanation from ebay!!

Hey @toysaver! Thank you for sharing this. There is an open sitewide ticket open under ALERT16072 for sellers having scheduled for weekly payouts, but received two payouts in this week. The Product team is working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

·1 year agoYou know, a selling announcement would have been nice so some would not be taken by Suprise. Was about to freak out, change passwords, check bank but I had to find this thread from a google search because finding out what was happening on eBay was impossible.

·1 year agoThis is why eBay needed to keep their nose out doing managed payments . I amazed eBay hasn't burned up managed payments already . It took them 3 years to destroy Bill pay .

·1 year agoMe too! I have my payout scheduled to each Tuesday. Woke up this morning with an empty balance and freaked out. But noticed it was an unscheduled payout. Not sure what’s going on.

·1 year agoSame here. Set up on weekly Tuesday payouts for years, received my normal Tuesday payout correctly, but got a 2nd payout today without requesting it or changing payout settings...

·1 year agoI got one also. I messaged eBay on Facebook and they replied back right away that it was an error that effected the entire United States Platform and IT is working on it so it never happens again. I was more concerned that they switched it to Friday's and didn't tell anyone an then would be left to adjust accordingly. So now I'll just have 1-day that I'm in the negative because I didn't print my shipping labels yet for what's going out today.

·1 year agoI got one too and it freaked me out. I immediately changed my password and added 2FA. I assumed someone had gotten into my account and tried to send themselves money. I feel better knowing it's happening to others.

·1 year agoI received an unscheduled payout today as well. I called ebay. They don’t know. But confirmed Tuesday as my payout day. And confirmed that there wasn’t any suspicious activity in my account.
The agent said they would look into the issue.

·1 year agoSame here. My payments have always started processing on Tuesday and for some reason at 5:31am Friday 7/18/25 another payment was processed. I double checked to make sure there was no hack and it’s going to my personal account, which it is. Never in three years have I had this happen before-rather strange….

·1 year agoI am scheduled to get my weekly payout on Tuesday ALSO and I got an unscheduled payout last night (Thurs or Fri) I checked and I am still scheduled to get my payout on Tuesday. Some computer glitch I m sure.

There were a lot of posts earlier this week, from sellers who did not receive their payout on Tuesday as scheduled. I think some of them finally received the payout today.
It's possible that eBay pushed out another payout this week, to correct that for the sellers who were affected by the earlier issue. Maybe they paid too many sellers, this time, instead of too few.

Yes, I was told about some members not getting their regular Weekly Payout so I suspect it was easier for eBay to simply push out all Payouts to those on the Weekly setting for anything since Tuesday just to be safe. For myself (and before I saw all the threads on this) I thought a June 29th Cancelled label credit triggered and Interim Payout ...

·1 year agoI'm wondering what lame attempt or reach around is upcoming for the sellers here on this platform. Ebay will try to recoup all the interest they have just lost off all the money they sent early with this latest glitch. They won't deal with any of their core issues but go off and chase lame ways to continue to punish the good sellers for Ebay created mistakes. Somehow it was our fault. They are second rate. Need some management changes. These continued glitches are getting tiresome and I spend more time chasing their mistakes instead of listing items. Doesn't make any logical sense to me, just saying. I think I will take my stuff off, they apparently do not need my fees.

I received one too today although I am initially thinking that a Cancelled label credit from June 29th triggered it. Since creating my thread below on this another member told me that some Weekly payout members did not get their Weekly payout on Tuesday this week. So perhaps the system is catching up and just sending out Payouts for everything since Tuesday this week!?!

·1 year agoI'm a Tuesday payout receiver also and I see in a email I have a payout coming. Hopefully? I read a post earlier this week about some people not getting there scheduled payouts. I'm thinking that Ebay in it's second rate way of dealing with issues and glitches that they create, just did a general payout to everyone. Just thinking and hoping it's nothing more. Again we pay fees for this? Wow
