I bought Ebay gift coupon and might be scammed as someone asked me for the last 4 digits.
How can I protect my ebaycard is there a way to quickly change or do something before scammers use it ?

·2 years agoCall the number on the back of the card and report it. However as others have pointed out you may be too late already. Just who asked and how did they get in touch with you?

·2 years agoThe only way to protect yourself from gift card scammers is not to reveal your redemption code, in whole or in part, to anyone.
Anyone that knows the code can spend the money on the card unless you spend it first. Scammers know this well, so do not wait around once the numbers are known.

·2 years agoGift cards have a code...a buyer puts money on it...and you can buy something with it. And there is a receipt if you actually bought the gift card.
Most gift cards you have to scratch to get the code.
Buying you look at a gift card and see if anything out of the ordinary on the back looks out of the ordinary.
