How to talk to a LIVE agent?????!!
Summary: The discussion is centered around how to speak with a live agent. Various participants are engaged, though specific details or solutions are not provided within this excerpt.
I really need someone's help here. I am a seller on eBay. I have sold many items. I have not yet gotten paid. The customers have received their shipments and have paid. I've entered my banking information and it says my funds are still on hold. I try to contact eBay through the chat section on the help page. And for some reason it's frozen, it won't let me enter anything or clear it. I've tried to Clear my cache and also cleared my data, I've Reset my phone uninstalled and installed the app twice. And I still can't get it to clear. I've tried calling all the phone numbers I've managed to find to contact eBay, and I cannot get through to a single live person talk to anyone. Can anybody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me with this?It is so important I talk to someone. I hope someone out there is able to answer my question or at least get me through to speak to a live person.Any help would be so appreciated and I would be grateful. Thank you

Typing "agent" into a community post will not get you a call back.
You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If you are unable to get a call back, try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

You have not been paid because you were not supposed to be paid yet.
If you had read the Ebay Seller Agreement you would be aware that these holds were permitted, and if you were experienced with other internet marketplaces and payment services you would have expected them to occur.

·10 months agoThey need the 30-days to verify info regarding you and most importantly, the items you are selling.
I couldn't help notice that all of your items are higher end tools from the same maker. If you are not an authorized seller, then you may be raising suspicion of theft, or a potential VERO issue for both you and eBay. eBay needs time to figure all that out so they are not complicit.

·10 months agoHi there,
I can totally understand your frustration when your funds are on hold and you can’t reach a real person, it’s stressful, especially after you’ve done everything right and your buyers already received their orders.
A few things you can try that usually help sellers in this situation:
Check your Payments section on eBay:
Go to My eBay → Payments → Payouts (or use the “Payments†tab if you’re on desktop). If your account is new or recently updated, eBay sometimes holds funds for up to 21 days until your selling history and tracking performance build up.
Add tracking and mark items as shipped:
If tracking shows “Delivered,†funds usually release within a few days. Make sure all your orders have valid tracking uploaded.
Verify your identity & bank info:
Sometimes funds stay on hold because eBay’s payment processor (Adyen) needs additional verification. Check if there’s a notification banner asking for documents or ID confirmation.
Contact eBay through the right path:
Go to: https://www.ebay.com/help/home
Click “Selling†→ “Payments & fees†→ “Payouts on hold†→ then select “Chat with us†or “Have us call you.â€
If the app chat is freezing, use a desktop browser (Chrome or Edge) it usually works better there.
It sounds like your issue is with eBay’s managed payments system, so once you reach the Payments or Payouts team, they can manually review your account and release your funds if everything checks out.
You’re definitely not alone — several new or returning sellers have gone through this same delay lately. Hopefully this helps you finally get connected to a real person and get those payments released soon. Hang in there! ðŸ™

Ebay doesn't have a phone number to call, they call you.
No, calling won't get the funds released any sooner.

That is not a valid phone number to call eBay, regardless of whatever AI tool generated that response for you. The very first result when searching for that number is someone complaining about their account being hacked after they called that number.

·10 months agoDid it not come to your attention that the OP is a new seller, just registered early in October?
New sellers, infrequent sellers and sellers with high dollar sales will find their funds held for up to 30 days. That's explained in all the new seller info available on eBay.

·10 months agoJust opened account Oct 9th.
First Sale Oct 15th.
Shows you've sold 22 to 35 items.
GOOD PRICE POINTS. You found a Niche, have something people want, are willing to pay $$$ for.
Ebay is watching you. 😄 Yeah, it's going to be Mid November before you see your pay out. Stop trying to call ebay. There's nothing they're going to do. It's going to be 3 more weeks minimum until you see your first dime. Wait it out.

·10 months agoNo need t contact CS, you're a new seller and the can hold the funds for 30 days.
You sold your first item Oct. 15th, so you should start receiving payments around Nov. 15th.

·10 months agoAs you have experienced, eBay is a great place to sell. It is not, however, a great place for a new seller to make fast cash. Hang in there...

·10 months agoBefore beginning to sell on eBay, did you read all the available information about how eBay works?
There's a statement there, I believe, somewhat to the effect that new or infrequent sellers can expect to have their funds held for up to 30 days.
Also, don't call those phone numbers. They do not actually connect you to eBay or its employees.

I've tried calling all the phone numbers I've managed to find to contact eBay,
---------------------------------
DO NOT CALL EBAY WITH A PHONE # THAT YOU FIND ONLINE.
Most likely it will be a scammer trying to get your info.

New and infrequent sellers should expect that funds can be held for up to thirty days:

Use the direct link to request a call back if you are unable to use the chat assistant.
Or contact eBay via social media direct message.

·10 months agoFunny. 8 out of 12 responses explained to you what's going on. You're not going to see any money until your 30 days is up. You're just not. But yet you're still concentrating on and determined to get ahold of ebay about your payment.
Go ahead, follow all these links eburt supplied to you. Keep working on getting ahold of ebay. Final Outcome, you'll get your first payout on November 15th, 30 days AFTER your first sale on October 15th. But yet are so set on wasting your time here trying to contact ebay instead of being more productive doing other things, such as working on your listings to keep that income coming in after your first payout on November 15th. Again, Funny. 😂

·10 months agoYour question has been addressed by several responders here. You are wasting your time trying to contact eBay. Best result if you do contact them: a random CS rep will tell you pretty much what we have told you here. Worst result: You will get some scammer who will manage to get hold of your eBay information and then use it to defraud you.
Trust me, your best option is to just wait til it's been 30 days. While waiting, do a bit more reading about selling on eBay.

·10 months agoNew seller payments can be held for 30 days. If more than 30 days goes by without payment release then contact them. Right now there is no need
