Hold on funds for item sold
I sold an item on the 25th of Feb., the buyer paid and received the item on Monday March2nd, funds are on hold, why won’t eBay release my funds to my bank account ?

·6 months agoIf you missed this information as a new seller, may I respectfully suggest you go back and read ALL the new information you can possibly find? The MBG is especially important to know about.

·6 months agoAll new and infrequent sellers are subject to transaction holds, and large sales or one outside of your normal selling patterns will trigger holds as well.

·6 months agoBecause you are a new seller and they don't want to be up the creek without a paddle when the buyer potentially opens a return.

They'll release the funds, but being a new seller, it might take 30 days.

·6 months agoYes, unfortunately, they do hold funds on an item sold. Specially, since this is your very first sale. Sorry 😞

·6 months agoPer eBay rules, most new sellers will have their funds held for 30 days.
This is described in all the information that is available to new sellers and should be read before listing and/or selling anything on eBay.
