getting payment
I can't get payment due to multiple messages saying I need to provide my tax id . I have done that multiple times and it says done. When I go to my account it says all clear. On chat the bot just keeps saying I need to verify my tax id and go to help topics. I try typing in AGENT and it tells me agent is not available but I am trying during business hours. If I ask for a customer service email it put me in the same loop

There's a "Have us call you" blue button at the bottom of this Help page on Payments - that should get you a live agent. There's also a smaller "Call us" link below that under "Other options"

OP5 months agoI can't find a blue "Have us call you " anywhere on the page below this message or on the "getting paid for items you've sold". In "other options " there is only a blue button that takes me to chat which won't get me to a live agent. That keeps closing me out after telling me to give my ssn# and read the help page.

I just realized those may be options that not all members are shown, which is why you don't see it, sorry.
If you're seeing a Chat box instead, did you try to type "Agent" at the bottom, don't answer any bot questions, just keep typing Agent. For the box "Yes/Something else", click "Yes" and that should be the last step for the live agent options. Let me know if that works.

OP5 months agoYes, typing agent over and over in the chat box got a call back from a live agent. She was very helpful and I believe my issue is fixed. Thank you:)

Another option for contact would be to use the Instagram message function to contact ebayforsellers. Here's the direct link: https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers (you don't need to use an Instagram account with any real information tied to it, it can be just for that purpose).

OP5 months agoThank you for your suggestion. Since I don't have the Instagram app I went with typing agent multiple times and got to an agent who I believe got my problem fixed. I'm saving this to archive for future reference.
