Funds on hold on a separate account

I have a long-standing top seller account and recently created a new additional account to keep my merchandise lines separate. Ebay is holding my funds on sold items until they are shown as delivered. Can I have this changed so that my new account isn’t treated as if I am a brand new, unvetted seller? It is annoying having to wait for my funds for so long when I have a proven track record for years as reputable top rated seller.

Ya, each account has to stand on it's own. However, ironically, if any of your accounts go afoul , then eBay links them all together as far as restrictions and suspensions go...not a two way street at all.

Way back when there used to be a simple option to link accounts, so a newly created account would be treated and trusted the same as a long established account.

I assume that option no longer exists in it's original form.

That’s unfortunate because it punishes sellers who have worked hard to build a trusted and reputable account; just to start all over again.

You may be able to ask eBay to take your existing account's performance into account when you request higher selling limits, as it says here:

No, you cannot.

eBay looks at each account as a separate entity.

New accounts are not linked to old accounts.

Because it's a new account, ebay will hold your money on that account. It doesn't matter that you have another established account.

That isn’t what i asked, therefore, your reply isn’t helpful. I understand that they are holding funds because it is a new account. I asked if they would consider changing it based on my other account’s good standing. You should consider changing your mantra.

I will contact ebay to argue my point instead of wasting my time here.
